The Department of Computer Applications organized the Fourth National Conference on Emerging Issues in Computer Applications for “Computational Science and Technologies” on 10th February 2012. Nearly 370 Papers received for the conference after two-level review process, 165 papers are selected for the oral presentation. Around 300 members consisting of faculty members, research scholars and students from various Institutions within and outside Tamilnadu participated in the Conference. The Conference was aimed to provide a forum to discuss and dissiminate the recent research activities in the field of computer Science.
Lion.Dr.K.S.Rangasamy, MJF Founder and President, K.S.R Educational Institutions delivered Chairman address. Mr. R.Srinivasan, Managing Trustee, falicitated the gathering. Principal, Dr.N.Rengarajan delivered presidential address and appreciated the students for their interest in attending the conference and also insisted the the importance of updating growth.
The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Srinivasan Desikan, Master Technologist, HP Enterprise Services, Bengaluru. His keynote address, Encouraged the Participants to attend the more number of conferences like this. After the Inaugural function, Mr. Srinivasan Desikan, gave an invited talk on the topic Software Metrics and Practices and then participants presented their papers in 5 Tracks and 10 Sessions.
Dr.A.Subramani, Prof & Head welcomed the gathering. Vote of thanks were given by Mrs.P.Anitha Associate Professor (Sr.)/MCA.
